This hand-thrown stoneware bowl is formed organically with a soft wavey rim, giving it a gentle, flowing shape and a unique character of its own. Glazed in lilac celadon tones, it’s finished with a hand-painted gold lustre edge—added in a delicate third firing at around 700°C to create a bright, metallic shimmer. Elegant, sculptural, and full of handmade charm.
All ceramic pieces are fired to stoneware temperatures (high fire 1250°C), making them durable for everyday use. Since this piece features gold lustre, it will be happiest with a gentle hand wash—avoid scrubbers, soaking, and the dishwasher to keep the edge gleaming.
