This hand-thrown stoneware fruit bowl is formed organically with a soft, flowing shape, giving it a warm and natural character. Glazed in a gentle biscuit tone, it features icing-piped inspired shell details around the outside, adding a playful, cake-like touch. The edge is finished with hand-painted gold lustre—added in a delicate third firing at around 700°C to create a bright, metallic shimmer. Charming, sculptural, and a beautiful centrepiece for any table.
All ceramic pieces are fired to stoneware temperatures (high fire 1250°C), making them durable for everyday use. Since this piece features gold lustre, it will be happiest with a gentle hand wash—avoid scrubbers, soaking, and the dishwasher to keep the gold edge gleaming.
